How to preview your Clym widget
Steps to take to preview your Clym widget from different jurisdictions
When integrating the Clym widget into your website, it’s important to understand how it will function and appear to your website visitors. Previewing your compliance widget allows you to ensure you offer a seamless user experience that aligns with your brand’s standards and to preview the varying user experiences of the Clym widget from different locations around the world. By testing these widget viewing conditions, you can better understand how the widget supports over 70+ global data privacy and accessibility regulations, allowing you to confidently provide better support for your users.
Previewing your Clym widget is an easy 3-step process:
1. Open your website settings
You should have received a magic link in your initial onboarding email. Please click Sign in from the email to get started. Alternatively, navigate to Clym's home page and click Sign in in the upper right-hand corner.
From the left side menu, select Website Settings. From here, you will see a list of all your domains, each with unique settings.
Click the settings wheel next to the domain that you would like to change the default language for. This will open the website settings for that specific domain.
2. Navigate to your setup instructions
Click the drop-down next to Setup Instructions to expand the section. Next, click Preview widget. Please note that the preview will open in a new tab.
3. Preview the widget
To preview how the widget will display to users across the world, based on various data privacy regulations that the Clym widget supports and their individual configurations, select a Country and a State or Province if applicable. The widget will re-load to show a preview of what a user sees from a specific jurisdiction.
