How to add a new security rule to a jurisdiction


Steps to take to enable Bounty Hunting for a jurisdiction


Clym’s Bounty Hunting service is designed to help our customers enhance their security posture by offering a structured and efficient way to manage security vulnerabilities and technical issues. This service empowers your website visitors with the ability to report potential threats detected on your website in a streamlined and organized manner. Using Clym's Bounty Hunting solution, you can now manage the security of your systems proactively, addressing vulnerabilities before they become critical risks. As data privacy regulations vary, you may wish to offer certain jurisdictions the ability to submit security risk cases to your organization.


Adding a security rule to a jurisdiction is an easy 3-step process:



1. Sign in to your Clym Control Center account


You should have received a magic link in your initial onboarding email. Please click Sign in from the email to get started. Alternatively, navigate to Clym's home page and click Sign in in the upper right-hand corner.

2. Access the Manage tab


From the left-side menu, select Manage. Click Property settings to expand the section, which will open to the Jursdictions settings. Search for the jurisdiction that you would like to create the security rule for. Click the pencil icon to edit the jurisdiction.

3. Add a new bounty hunting rule


Click Add rule.

Click into the Case types section.

Click +Add case type.

In the Case type field, select Bounty hunting program. Modify the First response period, Resolution period, and Archive period fields if needed. Click Save.
