Steps to take to enable accessibility issues reporting for a jurisdiction
Clym’s accessibility issue reporting solution is designed to empower users to easily identify, report, and track accessibility issues within digital platforms and services. This solution aims to ensure that digital content is accessible to all users, including those with disabilities, complementing the Clym widget's accessibility widget solutions. The reporting system is user-friendly and includes features that make it simple for individuals to report issues found on your website, mobile app, documentation, or other.
Based on your users' needs and where accessibility solutions may be enabled for your website visitors, you may wish to give specific jurisdictions the ability to submit cases for accessibility issues. With Clym's solution, you can configure rules that offer accessibility issue reporting to users from specific locations.
Adding an accessibility issues reporting rule to a jurisdiction is an easy 3-step process:
- Sign in to your Clym Portal
- Open your Website Settings
- Add a new accessibility issues reporting rule
1. Sign in to your Clym Portal
You should have received a magic link in your initial onboarding email. Please click Sign in from the email to get started. Alternatively, navigate to Clym's home page and click on Sign in in the upper right-hand corner.
2. Open your Website Settings
From the left side menu, select Website Settings. From here, you will see a list of all your domains, each with its unique settings.
Click the settings wheel next to the domain that you would like to change the default language for. This will open the website settings for that specific domain.
3. Add a new accessibility issues reporting rule
From the Website settings menu, select the Geographical and device-based settings drop-down arrow to expand the options. Click the three dots next to the jurisdiction that you want to edit. Click the clipboard and pencil icon to Edit.
In the pop-up window, expand the Accessibility section to view any existing Accessibility rules. Click the pencil icon next to the accessibility regulation to Edit.
Expand the Case types section and click Add Case Type.
In the Case type field, select Accessibility issue reporting. Click Submit.
