How to understand Insights
Here is a breakdown of the different items on your Insights page
The Insights area of your dashboard provides statistics and data about your website visitors. In this analytics snapshot, you can quickly view information about your data subject requests, consents, and more.
To access your Insights, please follow this simple 3-step process:
1. Sign in to your Clym Control Center account
You should have received a magic link in your initial onboarding email. Please click Sign in from the email to get started. Alternatively, navigate to Clym's home page and click Sign in in the upper right-hand corner.
2. Access the Monitor tab
When you first sign in to the Clym Control Center, the Monitor tab will be the first page that opens. If this is not the case, please select Monitor from the left side menu.
3. View your Insights
Navigate through the different sections of Insights to view your different data. For more information on each section, please view below:
Views
In the Widget activity section, you can see how many Views your website has received over a specific date range. Clym's subscription packages are primarily based on the number of monthly page views that your website recives, so this data can indicate if your account should be configured with a different subcription.
Consents
Analyze the consents you have received from your website's visitors across different categories, such as advertising, entertainment, functional, analytics, and social, by clicking Consents. Essential cookies are displayed in the graph but will be turned on for all users. Additionally, you can view your data on your users by browser, country/region, and device.
Data Subject Requests
Under the Subject requests tab, you can view data for all of your data subject requests and visualize these requests by their Closed, Open, Overdue, Pending, and In Progress statuses.
Global user distribution, Countries, Languages, Devices, and Browsers
Scroll down to view a breakdown of your website visitors, including where they are visiting your website from, which language they are using in your Clym widget or Governance portal, which devices they are accessing your website from, and which brwosers they are using.
