How to set up your Governance portal

Steps to take to establish and customize your Governance portal settings

The Governance portal allows your website visitors to review and respond to the data subject requests they have submitted. It also provides access to important legal documents such as your Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, and information about your company data and data privacy officer. To ensure everything is customized to meet your needs, it's important to understand all the possibilities the Governance portal offers before making it available to your users.

Setting up your Governance portal is an easy 3-step process:

• Sign in to your Clym Control Center account
• Access the Manage tab
• Customize your Governance Portal settings

1. Sign in to your Clym Control Center account

You should have received a magic link in your initial onboarding email. Please click Sign in from the email to get started. Alternatively, navigate to Clym's home page and click Sign in in the upper right-hand corner.

2. Access the Manage tab

From the left side menu, access the Manage tab. Click to expand the Platform section. From the side menu, select Governance portal or select Customize from the Governance portal section on the main page.

3. Customize your Governance Portal settings

Click through each tab to configure the widget sections. For more information, please see below.

General

Default language: Configures your Governance portal's default display language.

Language selection method: Determines if a user's default Governance portal language is determined by the default language set, the user's location, or the user's browser settings.

Display title: Customizes the title message at the top of your Governance portal.

Display sub-title: Customizes the sub-title message used in your Governance portal.

Privacy

Display privacy section in Governance portal: Allows users to see the privacy section in your Governance portal, where they can manage their cookie preferences, submit data subject requests, and view your Privacy Policy.

Enable data subject requests: Allows users to submit, view, and reply to data subject requests through the Governance portal.

Enable bounty hunting reporting: Allows users to submit reports of security vulnerabilities through your Governance portal.

Display consents section: Allows users to view consents they have provided using your Clym solutions.

Display option to manage cookies: Allows users the option to configure their cookie preferences in the Governance portal.

Display a list of policies: When enabled, allows you to display privacy-related legal documents in the Governance portal.

Accessibility

Display accessibility section in Governance portal: When enabled, the accessibility section is visible in your Governance portal, where users can view your accessibility statement, submit an accessibility issue report, and more.

Display option to manage website accessibility settings: Allows your users to access the accessibility menu in your Governance portal.

Display Accessibility statement: When enabled, makes your Accessibility Statement legal document available in the Governance portal.

Enable accessibility issue reporting: Allows your website visitors to submit a case to report an accessibility issue.

Transparency and accountability

Display Transparency & Accountability section in Governance portal: Allows users to see the Transparency & Accountability section in your Governance portal.

Enable whistleblowing reporting: Allows users to submit, view, and reply to whistleblowing cases through the Governance portal.

Enable content takedown reporting: Allows users to submit, view, and reply to content takedown cases through the Governance portal.

Display company data: Allows users to view your Company Data in the Governance portal.

Display addresses: Allows users to view your saved addresses in the Governance portal.

Display contact data: Allows users to view your contact information in the Governance portal.

Display company representatives' data: Allows users to view your data privacy officer or other representatives in the Governance portal.

Display bank accounts: Allows users to Allows users to view your company's registration numbers in the Governance portal.

Display links: Allows users to view your company's stored links in the Governance portal.

Display a list of legal documents: Allows users to view your transparency & accountability related legal documents in the Governance portal.

Design

Brand color: Allows you to choose a hex code that your Governance portal will display in.

Title color: Allows you to choose a hex code that your Governance portal's title text will use.

Subtitle color: Allows you to choose a hex code that your Governance portal's subtitle text will use.

Font: Allows you to choose your Governance portal's font from a set of options.

Logo: Displays your uploaded image in the Governance portal. Please upload your images using a 304x76px PNG.

Logo display: Chooses the criteria for when to load which logo version.

Favicon: Displays your uploaded image as a small icon in your browser's tab.

Hero section: Configures the size of the hero section in your Governance portal.

Hero background: Determines whether your hero section is a solid color, a pattern, or a pattern that incorporates your selected brand color.

Card type: Determines the layout of your Governance portal.

Corner radius: Determines the roundedness of the sections in the Governance portal.
