How to add a new bounty hunting case category

Steps to take to add a new case category for bounty hunting cases

When a user submits a bounty hunting case to your company, they are able to choose the category of bounty hunting case they are submitting. Clym's default values include broken access control, cryptographic failures, injection, insecure design, security misconfiguration, vulnerable and outdated components, identification and authentication failures, software and data integrity failures, and server-side request forgery. Depending on the type of content used on your website, you may wish to add additional categories that your website visitors can choose from when creating a new request.

Adding a new case category is an easy 3-step process:

1. Sign in to your Clym Control Center

You should have received a magic link in your initial onboarding email. Please click Sign in from the email to get started. Alternatively, navigate to Clym's home page and click Sign in in the upper right-hand corner.

2. Access the Manage tab

From the left side menu, select Manage. Expand the Data privacy section and select Bounty hunting. In order to make edits to Clym's default bounty hunting settings, Overwrite default settings must be toggled on. In order to configure a case category for bounty hunting cases, please enable Overwrite default settings. Toggle to the Case categories section.
