How to set up your Compliance Center

Steps to take to establish and customize your Compliance Center settings

The Compliance Center is a portal that allows your website visitors to review and respond to the data subject requests they have submitted. It also provides access to important legal documents such as your Privacy Policy and Terms of Service, as well as information about your company data and data privacy officer. To ensure that everything is customized to meet your needs, it's important to understand all the possibilities the Compliance Center offers before making it available to your users.

Setting up your Compliance Center is an easy 3-step process:

1. Sign in to your Clym Portal

You should have received a magic link in your initial onboarding email. Please click Sign in from the email to get started. Alternatively, navigate to Clym's home page and click on Sign in in the upper right-hand corner.

4. Setup a custom domain for your Compliance Center

In order to set up a custom domain for your website's Compliance Center, click on Setup and enter your custom domain (e.g., compliance.mysite.com).

Once you've submitted your custom domain name, please wait for a few seconds until we generate the required DNS records you need to configure. You should see a table with the DNS records you need to configure on your domain hosting provider.

Next, you need to create the specified DNS records in your DNS service provider (e.g., Cloudflare, Namecheap, Route53, etc.). Once configured, it usually takes a few minutes for us to verify the DNS settings of your custom domain. However, it might take up to 24 hours for the changes to propagate worldwide. We're continuously checking the DNS records of the custom domain, so you should see the Verified check once it's verified.

Congratulations! You can now access the Compliance Center on your custom domain.
