Steps to take to turn the confidential and anonymous reporting types on or off
By default, Clym's content takedown solution allows your website visitors to submit content takedown requests confidentially or anonymously. When submitting a request, users have the option to submit the request confidentially, which means that their name and email are submitted with the request, providing a mechanism by which you can follow up with the user, or to submit the request anonymously, which omits the users name and email from the submission. If you wish to turn one of these reporting types on or off, you can easily do so in your Clym Portal.
Turning a reporting type on/off is an easy 3-step process:
1. Sign in to your Clym Portal
You should have received a magic link in your initial onboarding email. Please click Sign in from the email to get started. Alternatively, navigate to Clym's home page and click on Sign in in the upper right-hand corner.
2. Open your Website Settings
From the left side menu, select Website Settings. From here, you will see a list of all your domains, each with its unique settings.
Click the settings wheel next to the domain that you would like to change the default language for. This will open the website settings for that specific domain.
3. Turn reporting type on/off
From the Website settings menu, select the Content takedown settings drop-down to open the section. First, ensure that Overwrite default settings is toggled on to be able to make edits. Click the drop-down arrow next to Reporting types to expand the section.
Next to Report anonymously and/or Report confidentially, toggle on or off each reporting type to allow this type of report to be submitted by your website visitors. Your changes will save automatically.
