How to implement Clym on a Wix website

These instructions will walk you through how to add the Clym privacy widget to your website. This will help your website stay compliant with privacy laws like the GDPR, CCPA, and LGPD.

Integrating Clym with any Wix website is really easy to be compliant with GDPR, CCPA and LGPD. 

First, make sure you are signed up on Clym for free.

Step 1. Go to https://app.clym.io/. From your Clym Dashboard, choose the property you wish to install the widget on.

 

 

Step 2. From the navigation bar, choose the Widget menu and toggle to Embed to access the privacy widget embed codes.

Step 3. Go back to your Wix account.

Step 4. Scroll down to the Settings section on the left hand side. Scroll down to Advanced and click on Custom code.

Step 5. In the Head section click on Add code.

Step 6. In the popup box that opens to Add Custom Code, paste the Privacy widget code from Clym into the Paste the code snippet here section.  Give this a name and click Apply.

Step 6. From your dashboard, click on Edit Site in the upper right-hand corner.

Step 7. Once you are in the site editor, scroll to the Footer section at the bottom of the page.  Click into this section and then click the + icon in the upper left-hand corner to Add Elements.

Step 8. Select Embed Code and then Embed HTML.

Step 9. Double click the grey area in the popup that appears in the footer area.  Paste the Privacy Center button/link and Do not sell button/link embed codes from Clym in the footer section and click Update.

Step 10. Click on Save and then Publish in the top right hand side of the page for the changes to take effect on your website.

It’s all done! Clym's widget will now display on your website based on how you setup your widget layout.

Please note: based on your geolocation, you may not see the privacy widget.  To view Clym on your site, click Privacy Center to open the widget.
