Steps to take to enable Bounty Hunting for a jurisdiction
Clym’s Bounty Hunting service is designed to help our customers enhance their security posture by offering a structured and efficient way to manage security vulnerabilities and technical issues. This service empowers your website visitors with the ability to report potential threats detected on your website in a streamlined and organized manner. Using Clym's Bounty Hunting solution, you can now manage the security of your systems proactively, addressing vulnerabilities before they become critical risks. As data privacy regulations vary, you may wish to offer certain jurisdictions the ability to submit security risk cases to your organization.
Adding a security rule to a jurisdiction is an easy 3-step process:
1. Sign in to your Clym Portal
You should have received a magic link in your initial onboarding email. Please click Sign in from the email to get started. Alternatively, navigate to Clym's home page and click on Sign in in the upper right-hand corner.
2. Open your Website Settings
From the left side menu, select Website Settings. From here, you will see a list of all your domains, each with its unique settings.
Click the settings wheel next to the domain that you would like to change the default language for. This will open the website settings for that specific domain.
3. Add a new bounty hunting rule
From the Website settings menu, select the Geographical and device-based settings drop-down arrow to expand the options. Click the three dots next to the jurisdiction that you want to edit. Click the clipboard and pencil icon to Edit.
In the pop-up window, expand the Security section to view any existing Bounty Hunting rules. Click Add Rule.
In the Type drop-down, select Security. If applicable, specify which Device(s) you would like to create the rule for. Click Submit.
