# How to install Clym on a Duda website


## Step-by-step guide for installing Clym on your Duda website

If you feel this is a task better suited for your webmaster or developer, please send them this knowledge base article. Installing Clym on a Duda website is a 3-step process:

### 1. Copy/paste the Clym widget code

Please [__sign in to your Clym Control Center account__](https://www.auth.clym.io/). From the left-hand side menu, toggle to **Integrate**. Click **Platform tools** to expand the menu options and choose **Widget**. From the screen, select **Duda**.

From the window, click **Copy to clipboard** to copy the embed code from the **Copy the code below** field.

Please log in to your Duda account. From your site list, click the pencil icon to edit the site that you want to add Clym to.

Click **Settings** from the left side menu, and select **Head HTML.** In the **Head HTML** section, paste the embed code from Clym. Click **Save**.

**Note that, to facilitate compliance, this script has to be inserted as the first script under the "head" section of your website. Failure to do so might allow third-party scripts to be loaded on your website and, depending on regulation, that might result in non-compliance. For easy viewing, you may leave space in between the Clym script and any following scripts or code.**

### 2. Add an Embed HTML element to your footer

Within the site editor, scroll down to the footer at the bottom of your site.

In the left-hand side menu, select **Widgets**. Search for the **HTML** widget and drag this widget into your footer.

### 3. Copy/paste the links for "Privacy Center" and "Do not sell or share my personal information"

Return to your Clym Control Center to [__generate your custom footer link embed codes__](https://clymio.crisp.help/en/article/how-to-generate-a-custom-footer-link-x0laqs/), such as **Privacy Center** and **Do not sell or share my personal information**. Return to Shopify and paste the **Privacy Center** and **Do not sell or share my personal information** embed codes from Clym one at a time. Return to Duda and paste the **Privacy Center** and **Do not sell or share my personal information** link embed codes into the **HTML Content** window one at a time. Click **Update**.

You're all set! Clym's widget will now display on your website based on how you set up your widget layout.

Please note that based on your geolocation, you may not see the privacy widget if there are no regulations that apply to your jurisdiction.
