# How to import net new domains

The domain
## To sync an external list of domains with the Partner Portal, you need to use the import net new domains functionality described below

If you are using a master template to store all of your customer and merchant data, you may wish to instruct Clym to import net new domains only when you run an import. This functionality will check your file against the contents of your Partner Portal domain list and perform the following steps when the file is imported with this setting:

| Is the domain already in your partner portal account? | What is the current domain status? | Is the domain listed in the import file? | What change occurs when imported? |

| Yes | Deactivated | Yes | The domain is reactivated |
| No | N/A | Yes | The domain is added |

Before you begin, the option to import net new domains must be enabled by your Customer Success Manager. If you do not see the option to import net new domains, please reach out to [support@clym.io](mailto:support@clym.io).

Importing net new domains is an easy 3-step process:

### 1. Sign in to the Partner Portal

You should have received a magic link in your initial onboarding email. Please click **Sign in** from the email to get started. Alternatively, navigate to the [Partner Portal](http://partners.clym.io/) to sign in.

### 2. Access Customers

From the left-hand menu, select **Customers**. Click the drop-down arrow next to **Domains** to expand the section. Click **Manage domains in bulk**, and from the drop-down menu, select **Import domains**.

### 3. Import net new domains

Under **_Actions_**, you have four options:

* **Enroll** adds the domains to the Partner Portal with the status *New.*
* **Enroll and scan** scans your sites, creates an account, and makes the scan report available in the Partner Portal.
* **Enroll, scan, and send report** scans the sites and sends a pdf report of the cookies that are currently running on said sites.
* **Enroll, scan, and invite** scans your sites, creates an account, and sends you the Clym scripts for implementation.

Send intro email is enabled by default if you have an intro email template set for this type of domain upload. If set to yes, it will send the intro email that you have setup on your account to the domains that you are uploading. More information on this matter can be found in the [email templates management article](https://clymio.crisp.help/en/article/add-a-new-intro-email-template-1agbmkk/).

First, you can download the **import template** from the pop-up window. Add your customer or merchant data to the spreadsheet. Please note: The first two lines are examples, and should be removed before import. Select the  **Action** you would like to perform, based on the guidelines above. In the **Import domains** window, **Click to select file**. Check **Import net new domains**. Click **Add Domains**.
