How to enable two-factor authentication
Steps to take to enable two-factor authentication on your Clym account
Enabling two-factor authentication on your account is an easy way to stay safe and secure. At this time, two-factor authentication is only an option for users who have selected the password authentication method.
Enabling two-factor authentication is an easy 3-step process:
1. Sign in to your Clym Control Center account
You should have received a magic link in your initial onboarding email. Please click Sign in from the email to get started. Alternatively, navigate to Clym's home page and click Sign in in the upper right-hand corner.

2. Open your account
In the bottom left corner, click Profile.

3. Enable two-factor authentication
From the Authentication page, toggle on Two factor authentication.

In the window that opens, select your preferred two factor authentication method: Email, Phone, or Time-based OTP. Click Save.

Phone
If you've selected Phone as your two factor authentication method, provide your Phone number in the field below.

On the next page, you will be asked to verify your phone number. Provide the six-digit code sent to your phone number.

Time-based OTP
If you've selected Time-based OTP as your two factor authentication method, open your authentication app to scan the QR code on the screen.

In your authenticator app, click to scan the QR code provided in the Clym Control Center.

Clym provides backup codes that can be used to sign in if you lose access to your authenticator app. Copy the backup codes to save in a secure location. Please note they will only be provided one time.

If you encounter any challenges, please reach out to us at support@clym.io.
