# How to edit the intro message on your Clym widget


## Steps to take to customize the intro message that displays to your website's visitors on your Clym widget

Having an introduction message display at the top of your Clym widget can be a useful tool for greeting each visitor, letting them know the purpose of the Clym widget, or anything else you want to say. Our Clym widget comes equipped with a standard intro message that is displayed for your website visitors when they open the Clym widget. This message can easily be customized to suit your business needs.

Editing your intro message is an easy 3-step process:

#### 1. Sign in to your Clym Control Center account 

You should have received a magic link in your initial onboarding email. Please click **Sign in** from the email to get started. Alternatively, navigate to [Clym's home page](https://clym.io) and click **Sign in** in the upper right-hand corner.

#### 2. Access the Manage tab

From the left side menu, access the **Manage** tab. Click to expand the **Platform** section. From the side menu, select **Widget** or select **Customize** from the **Widget** section on the main page.

#### 3. Change your intro message

Under the **General** tab, ensure the **Intro message** is toggled on. Click **Edit translation** to modify your widget's intro message.
