How to configure custom roles

Managing user access is a critical part of maintaining both security and efficiency within your organization. The Clym Control Center allows you to create and configure custom roles so each account user has permissions aligned with their responsibilities, website compliance needs, and internal security policies. By defining exactly what actions users can take, such as managing your Clym widget and Governance portal, accessing insights, or editing compliance settings, you can reduce risk while ensuring the right people have the right level of control.

This article walks you through how to create and configure custom roles in the Clym Control Center, including how to assign specific permissions based on your operational and compliance requirements. Please note that custom role functionality is available only to accounts on a Perform subscription. If your account is not currently on the Perform plan, this feature will not be accessible.

Creating a custom role is an easy 3-step process:

  • Sign in to your Clym Control Center account
  • Access the Configure tab
  • Create a new role
