How to change your sign in method
Steps to take to change your sign-in method to a magic link or password
Clym gives you two main ways to sign into the Partner Portal:
- Magic link: the default option to sign into the Partner Portal, simplifying the process for your users, and helping to stay secure by requesting email verification
- Password: users can sign in using an email and password combination
Changing your authentication method is an easy 3-step process:
1. Sign in to the Partner Portal
You should have received a magic link in your initial onboarding email. Please click Sign in from the email to get started. Alternatively, navigate to the Partner Portal to sign in.
2. Open your security settings
In the top right-hand corner, click the drop-down arrow next to the person icon to open your account settings menu. Click Security.
3. Change the authentication method
In the pop-up window, use the drop-down menu to select your Authentication method. The options are email (magic link) and password. If you would like to require two-factor authentication, toggle this option on and choose where you would like to receive your authentication code. Click Save.
Make sure you set up a secure password for your account using uppercase and lowercase characters, numbers, and special characters.
