How to change your default payment method


Steps to take to change your account's card on file as your default payment method


To enhance your experience, you can conveniently manage your account's default payment method directly within the Clym Portal at any time. This thorough guide will provide clear, step-by-step instructions to help you securely and seamlessly change your account's default payment option, enabling you to take charge of your payment management with ease and peace of mind.


Changing your default payment account is an easy 3-step process:



1. Sign in to your Clym Portal


You should have received a magic link in your initial onboarding email. Please click Sign in from the email to get started. Alternatively, navigate to Clym's home page and click Sign in in the upper right-hand corner.

2. Open your Website Settings


From the left side menu, select Website Settings. From here, you will see a list of all your domains, each with its unique settings.

Click the settings wheel next to the domain that you would like to change the default language for. This will open the website settings for that specific domain.

3. Change default payment method


From the Website settings menu, open the Billing section. Click the drop-down arrow next to Payment method and select the pencil icon next to the card that you would like to set as your default payment method.


Please note that you may only set one default card. You must have a default card set at all times, as the default payment option cannot be deleted.

In the pop-up window, confirm that you would like to make the selected card your default payment method. Click Change Default Card. The information will be updated in Stripe. To verify the default card change has taken place, navigate to your subscription, choose Upgrade, and view the card details here that are attached to your subscription.
