How to change cookie categories to opt-in or opt-out

By default, each jurisdiction with regulatory settings in place is also configured with opt-in and opt-out cookie settings. For any reason, if you need to make modifications to Clym's default settings, you can easily manage a jurisdiction at any time.

Changing cookie categories to be opt-in or opt-out is an easy 3-step process:

1. Sign in to your Clym Control Center

You should have received a magic link in your initial onboarding email. Please click Sign in from the email to get started. Alternatively, navigate to Clym's home page and click Sign in in the upper right-hand corner.

2. Access the Manage tab

From the left side menu, access the Manage tab. Click to expand the Property settings section and select Jurisdictions. Click the pencil icon to modify the widget type for that jurisdiction.

3. Change the category to opt-in/opt-out

From the window that opens, expand the Data privacy section and click the pencil icon to edit the initial notification type.
