# How to add an alternative reporting channel for whistleblowing cases


## Steps to take to provide an alternative reporting channel for your website visitors to submit a whistleblowing case

While the Governance portal offers an easy way for your website visitors to submit a whistleblowing case to your organization, we understand that there may be users who would prefer to submit their request over email, phone, mail, or through an alternative URL that directs users to a system that may already be in place.

Adding an alternative reporting channel is an easy 3-step process:

#### 1. Sign in to your Clym Control Center account

You should have received a magic link in your initial onboarding email. Please click **Sign in** from the email to get started. Alternatively, navigate to [Clym's home page](https://clym.io) and click **Sign in** in the upper right-hand corner.

#### 2. Access the Manage tab

From the left side menu, select **Manage**. Expand the **Transparency & Accountability** section and select **Whistleblowing.** In order to make edits to Clym's default whistleblowing settings, **Overwrite default settings** must be toggled **on**. In order to set up an alternative reporting channel for whistleblowing cases, please enable **Overwrite default settings**. Toggle to the **Alternative reporting channels** section.

#### 3. Add an alternative reporting channel

Click **+Add reporting channel**.

In the window that opens, select the **Type** of channel that you would like to offer your website visitors as an alternative option. Provide the email, phone number, address, or link that you would like to add. Click **Save**.
