How to add a new data subject request type to your Clym widget
Steps to take to add a data subject request option for your users to your Clym widget
By default, your Clym widget is pre-configured to offer specific data subject request types to your users, based on the regulation that protects them. For example, a website visitor from California will see the option to submit a Do not sell or share my personal information request.
Depending on the options you want to make available to your users, you may wish to add a new data subject request (or DSR) type to your Clym widget. Clym lets you do this on the geographical level, offering you the option to customize options for your users around the globe.
Adding a new DSR request type is an easy 3-step process:
1. Sign in to your Clym Control Center account
You should have received a magic link in your initial onboarding email. Please click Sign in from the email to get started. Alternatively, navigate to Clym's home page and click Sign in in the upper right-hand corner.

2. Navigate to the Manage tab
From the left-side menu, select Manage. Click Property settings to expand the section, which will open to the Jursdictions settings. Search for the jurisdiction that you would like to create the data subject request type for.

Expand the Data privacy section and click the pencil icon to modify the regulation settings for the selected jurisdiction.

3. Add the request type
From the Rule configuration window, expand the Requests section.

In the top right corner, select +Add request type.

Select the Request group and the Request type that you would like to add for users to be able to submit to your company. Click Add.
